Description

Messala Alvarinho Trajadura is produced in the Monção wine sub-region from the Alvarinho (80%) and Trajadura (20%) grape varieties. The exceptional location of the vineyards, with an average age of over 15 years, the combination of natural factors, soil and climate, and the knowledge of a generation of winegrowers, are the reasons that allow the production of this white wine of remarkable and distinguished quality.

Production Method: The harvest is carried out in manual boxes with a capacity of 15 kg, which are quickly transported to the cellar. After total stripping and pneumatic pressing, fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 16ºC.
Tasting Note: Clear citrine color. Very fruity and smooth with good structure and a long finish.
Suggestion: It should be consumed fresh, between 10-12ºC. Excellent option to combine fish and seafood dishes.
