Description
The Serras de Lá Reserva Encruzado is a high-altitude wine that reveals a complex, fresh personality and an authentic expression of the Dão region. The Silgueiros region is surrounded by mountains, which protect the vineyards from both the Atlantic influence and the harsh climate characteristic of the region. It is where tradition and nature meet to create wines of excellence.
Cépage: Encruzado
Production Method: Classic open top vinification, with fermentation in barrels at a controlled temperature of up to 16º C and maceration for 3 weeks. Aged for 7 months in French oak barrels with gentle battonage, followed by bottle ageing.
Tasting Note: With a bright, crystalline citrus colour, this wine has a delicate aroma, with notes of orange
blossom, lime and citron, surrounded by nuances of fresh wood from the ageing. It reveals good
aromatic complexity. On the palate, it stands out for its fresh, mineral structure, providing harmony
and a long, refined persistence.
Suggestion: Ideal with roast fish, seafood and white meats. Serve at 10-12°C.
