GinT Spirit

Description

GinT Spirit is the smell of Fig Tree, the aroma and taste of summer, the unmistakable aroma that we feel in the shade of a green fig tree!

Figueira bark is the identity of GinT drinks. Its harvest is a much appreciated and anticipated summer family gathering. We travel to Trás-os-Montes where we gather for pruning and, at the end of a hard day, we sit down at the table to share stories and memories that are both current and recent. The next day, we continued our work, stripping the branches and preparing the bark to be used during the rest of the year. Back at the distillery, we make an infusion of the bark in the base alcohol that we use in the production of our gins and let it macerate for a few weeks.

Cereal alcohol infused with fig bark, which is present in all GinT recipes.
